I’m Jessica Yang (she/her), a Taiwanese American kidlit and romance editor with a zest for storytelling and scallion pancakes. I’ve previously worked as a game writer at Pixelberry Studios, and as an editor at Quirk Books and Choose Your Own Adventure. I’m also a speculative fiction writer and the co-author of the Avatar: The Last Airbender picture book My Cabbages!

- My leisure reading consists of a steady diet of graphic novels, SFF, and queer romance. (If you like Murderbot and Gideon the Ninth, we have much to discuss.)
- The cat in the photo is my beautiful, perfect, and evil cat niece. She is a very good book model.
- I got to name the Cabbage Merchant, and “Merchant Cai” is canon now. No, I will not shut up about this.
- I believe a better world is possible and that storytelling can be a force for good that allows us to envision and work towards new possibilities.
